Content Moderation Policy

Biddo is a marketplace of public ranked positions ("boards"). A board is made up of several positions, each held by a user through a bid. Whoever holds a position can attach a website URL, a name, and a description to it. Boards themselves can be created either by the operator or by users, for a creation fee. This policy describes what content isn't allowed, how reporting works, and what happens to content that gets reported.

The following are not allowed in a board, a position's listing content (name, description, linked website), or a profile:

• illegal content or content promoting illegal activity of any kind;
• fraud, phishing, malware, or misleading payment requests, including via a linked website;
• infringement of copyright, trademark, or other third-party rights;
• harassment, hateful content, or content that incites violence;
• sexually explicit content or content unsuitable for minors;
• spam, or content with no genuine connection to the board it's posted on;
• manipulation of balances, bids, or rankings (see also the Terms of Service, "Prohibited use" section).

A board a user creates is not publicly visible at first (status "pending") - an administrator reviews it before it goes live, and can reject it instead. Positions on an already-active board - the website links, names, and descriptions holders attach to them - are not reviewed before publication, since they change continuously as new bids come in; they're covered by the reporting flow below instead.

Every board page has a "Report" button that lets a signed-in user pick a reason and optionally add details - for example, which position on the board is affected. You can also reach us at hello@biddo.lol.

Reports are reviewed by the operator. Depending on the outcome, a board can be paused or archived - either removes it from public listings (Explore, Leaderboard, homepage). An account that repeatedly or seriously violates this policy can be suspended: a suspended account can no longer place new bids, but keeps its existing balance and history. Bids already placed remain subject to the Terms of Service' no-refund rule for lost positions; removal for a policy violation doesn't create a separate right to a refund.
