Each outbid must beat the current amount by at least 8%.
Outbidding someone pushes them down a rank instead of removing them - they only lose their spot (and get notified) if that push takes them off the bottom of the board.
You can only hold one position per board. Bidding again releases whatever you currently hold there first.
Losing a position never refunds your credits, voluntarily or not - it's spent the moment someone outbids you. Top up if you want back in.
This board never resets - positions are held indefinitely.
